A dear friend and her husband just got word that their 4th adoption went through court this week...WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also this week, the dad who is diabetic had a series of seizures, which is not unheard of, but last night he really seized up and is, as of 3:30 AM, in the hospital after the EMS guys took him in. Theirs is a really awesome story of faith and being open to God when the world stands back, a lot, I suspect, and shakes its not-GOD-OBEDIENCE-oriented head and says things like "crazy" (and in the words of Forrest Gump..." thatis all I am going to say about THAT") I will not give the enemy .0000000000000000000000000001 ounce of acknowledgement here. We serve a mighty God who has called my friends to serve Him in spite of some physical parameters which might simply scare off some other folks.
Please pray with me for a restoring in "his body" and for the doctors to figure out quickly why this seizure activity has kicked up this week, for PEACE: that awesome IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL kind of peace for both he and she, and their children?
These folks are near and dear to my heart as personal friends, brothers and sisters in our Lord ,and as ministers/liv-ers not just hear-ers of the Word. YES Girl Friend, I am talking about YOU. I love you and my prayers are with you throughout today!!
AND for Abby, whom my kids LOVE to pray for daily, and for Cambrie and Lindsey and Baby Secret, and Baby Charlie. My children LOVE to bring other children before the throne!!
Just like a little bit of everything goes into a great pot of soup, so God has brought a lot of things and people into our family. He adds and He takes away, but in the process we are being seasoned and poured out, shared and blessed. The ingredients are unique but its a wonderful blend!
