National Day of Prayer, a post borrowed from a friend's blog

Tomorrow is the National Day of Prayer. I was so saddened to hear that the White House will not be observing it this year.... Wow. That says a lot doesn't? Please be sure to be praying for this country and the direction it's headed. HR 1913 is a huge concern of ours presently. Because of pressure from homosexual groups, Congress has refused to define what is meant by "sexual orientation" in H.R. 1913, the "Hate Crimes" bill. This means that the 30 different sexual orientations will be federally protected classes. Incest would be protected under that provision! Ugh. For the full 30, they are listed here. I pray that children are not put at further danger because of some very selfish adults ... I pray that pastors are able to continue to preach the Bible (what this country was founded on if you recall)... and I pray that we could all just play nicely in the sandbox of this country once again! :)
Thank you Kim for saying what I was mentally composing when I read what you had already written

I am praying for you while you decide. Selfishly I hope you adopt him, so I can meet him someday. :-)
Praying that God's will is crystal clear.

I posted about your daughters on our blog. Please thank them again for their wonderful gift and for their prayers.

I just wanted to congratulate you on winning the day spa certificate from Jill's blog. I got so excited I forget to congratulate you in my comment. Isn't she precious? I just love her. If you haven't checked out her hubby's blog, you really should. I've been so blessed listening to his Bible teachings. Again, enjoy your special treat as I will too.
