I had to share this newer photo of sweet Naomi after sharing the referral photo.
Just like a little bit of everything goes into a great pot of soup, so God has brought a lot of things and people into our family. He adds and He takes away, but in the process we are being seasoned and poured out, shared and blessed. The ingredients are unique but its a wonderful blend!

Goodness, she is still so beautiful! I can totally still see that same face she had when she was an infant--just more grownup. I was talking to Samren about it being 7 years, holding him in my arms and remembering how tiny our babies were back then. They are still tiny by American standards, I suppose! I was going through all of the events with Samren and he said, "And my Naomi was there too, right mommy?" I'm so glad they will always have that connection!

That madee me cry!!! We were talking about Samren too, and our whole Vietnam story. Since the other kids have thier Cambodian connection, I thnk it is more important than she lets on sometimes that SHE TOO has a BIG connection with someone else to Vietnam, someone she still gets to see and know. I was studying her photos and thinking the same thing: how much like her infant photo she looks! I love looking at our Vietnam photos of our kiddos together!
